Dean Bertrand Olivier recognized Bishop Mary at the Annual Christ Church Cathedral Pride Celebration with the following words:
“This is the last Pride service at which Bishop Mary is officiating and I think it’s right that we should acknowledge her support over her many years of ministry here in this Diocese. So Bishop Mary, we want to thank you from the depth of our hearts for your support and the work that we can all do together here at this cathedral and in a diocese… Let’s give a round of applause to the bishop.”
